It was the summer season last year that my family planned to visit Nainital. Nainital is a small picturesque hill station of Uttarakhand. That was a three day holiday trip. We stayed at Fair Light Trails Bungalow there. For advance booking of our accommodation holidayrentals.co.in website was very helpful. The bungalow is located on top of a hill giving spectacular view of Nainital. [caption id="attachment_1262" align="alignnone" width="300"] Nainital[/caption] Almost all the tourist spots in the hill station have wonderful views of the valley below. The lake there was wonderful. We had an exciting boat ride in the lake. After the thrilling boat ride we went to the Zoo. The Zoo had several non-native birds and animals, Tigers and Leopards. The other main tourist spots we visited were Snow view, Dorothy’s seat, Tiffin top, Lands end and Naini peak. To reach Snow view, we had to opt a rope way journey which offered us a marvelous view of the lake. From the Snow view point we could see the beautiful Himalayan snow caps as the sky was exceptionally clear. The other tourist spots which I have mentioned such as Dorothy’s seat, Tiffin top and Lands end can be reached only by trekking or on horseback. I had a scary horse ride through the steep slopes as I was a first time horse rider. Tiffin top offered us a fantastic view of the Krupa Tal and from Dorothy’s seat the Naini Lake can be very well seen. We took amazing photos on Tiffin top and Dorothy’s seat. China peak is another tourist spot we visited in Nainital. We had a great shopping in the famous Tibetan market of Nainital. There are two main markets in Nainital, the Tibetan market and the Upper market. Near to these markets is the famous Naini Devi temple. There were many restaurants in Nainital. Food was also cheap. The third day evening we packed our bags back to Delhi. A feeling of sadness captured me as I wanted to stay there for some more days. The days I was in Nainital, was unforgettable.
