Porvorim is a village located in the Bardez taluka of North Goa, on the north bank of the Mandovi River. It is considered as an upmarket residential place on the prime Mumbai–Goa highway NH17. The village has a lot of greenery and provides an excellent view of the state capital Panaji from the Mandovi bridge. The best season time is from November to February.
